The new appointment scheduling process for the Oregon Convention Center and the Portland Airport Drive-Thru Clinic for eligible populations who live in Clackamas, Columbia, Multnomah or Washington counties will be based on names being pulled from the Get Vaccinated Oregon tool.

• Register for an appointment at GetVaccinated.Oregon.Gov
• All4Oregon, the group of hospitals leading the mass vaccination, will contact individuals to schedule their appointment.
• Older adults and anyone who needs help better understanding the scheduling options are encouraged to call 211.

Clackamas County September Update: Delta variant far more contagious than original strain


Earlier this summer, we were all relived when we saw our case counts going down and our mask restrictions lifted. Then the Delta variant arrived in Oregon, and everything went downhill again. Now more than 90 percent of new cases in Oregon are from the Delta variant. 

Variants are normal. All viruses mutate as variants and change in order to create stronger, more harmful versions of themselves. 

The Delta variant is two to three times more contagious than the original version of COVID, and it spreads more quickly too. That’s why we’ve seen far more unvaccinated people get sick and die more quickly. Vaccines and masks are still the most effective tool we have to fight against the Delta and other variants.
